The University of Valencia (Universitat de València in Valencian and officially, Universidad de Valencia in Spanish) was founded on April 30, 1499 under the name Estudi General. It is one of the oldest universities in Spain. It is divided into three main campuses (Blasco Ibáñez, Els Tarongers, Burjassot-Paterna) and numerous affiliated centers, extensions, delegations, and locations, such as La Nau or the Jardí Botànic.
